Checkin’ In

I hope the holiday season is going well for everyone. My holiday spirit hasn’t entered my bloodstream yet, but I’m getting there.

I wanted to make a quick post to recap everything that happened in November and layout a rough idea of what’s next.

I’ve been really busy working for other publications, so I apologize if the content has been scarce lately.

November was a great time. It marked the first run of featured artists, and the blog received the most traffic thus far. For only 9 posts, the results are pretty flattering. October I published 28 posts.

Enough about stats.

There isn’t much on the lineup for December, not that I haven’t been brainstorming. It’s just the nature of the beast – travel, expenses, family, life, etc. With that in mind, December might not be as evergreen compared to months prior. Make no mistake, I plan on putting out great content to read, but this time of year has me in a choke hold until 2019 rolls around.

Am I quitting? – No

Am I taking a break? – Sort of.

As always, if you have anything to pitch (music, topics, questions), use the Contact page to get in touch. I’m still accepting submissions for January! There are only 3 artists I’m featuring this month, all of which will be announced at the end of this week.

Happy holidays!

  1. Hello Jordan, thanks for checking in, man. I understand what you mean about the nature of the beast. I can relate to it a lot. I’ve been writing less on the blog, and plenty for school. Take it easy, and I’ll wait for your future posts.

    Have a good week,

    Ernesto
