From The Walnut House – Fulton Lee | On Kirkwood Live

Kirkwood Live released a full video session of Fulton Lee at The Walnut House, featuring exclusive interview footage with Garret Hayes and Daniel Yocum.

“We love what we do, and our main goal is to keep learning so we can provide better quality services for the music community.”

Kirkwood Live, one of the ‘Boro’s favorite local house venues, is starting 2019 with a lot on the horizon. It stands in the heart of Murfreesboro’s “backyard” music community, and within a relatively short period of time, it turned itself into a well-rounded media production company. All it took was a roof, a stage, and four white suburban walls. The owner/director, Garret Hayes, picked up the pieces and ran with it.

All of this fantastic production work happened at The Walnut House in Murfreesboro, TN. The owners are currently in the process of restoring the former studio performance venue to its former glory. Back in the day, it was one of the premier locations for live production and studio recording. The building itself was once a vintage-era appliance store. In the 90s, it served an important role for recording musicians, and now the current general manager, Ricky Martini, is working on polishing this treasured gem located in the historic downtown area of Murfreesboro.

I’m keeping this post short because their video content and shows are experiences that speak for themselves. For the first time, I literally can’t think of anything else to say about this great local venue and the positive impact they’re making on the scene. The organizers of Kirkwood Live have more sessions and shows planned this year. Keep up by visiting Kirkwood Live on Facebook.
